About the Clay Studio: Slipstream Clay Studio is the private teaching studio of Vicki Wilson. Vicki teaches adult classes of 6-8 students at a time. Classes cover hand-building, wheel work, glazing and sculpture upon request. A limited number of students are selected to continue on as members (when space is available).

About the Supply Shop:The retail supply shop is open the same times as the gallery. It offers small quantities of Cone 6 Georgies Clay and Glazes, Amaco Velvet Underglazes and Potters Choice glazes. There is a thoughtful array of tools and clay accessories available as well.

About Green Heron Gallery: The gallery in the front of the space is run by Vicki Wilson, with help from local artist volunteers. It offers an exhibition and selling space for about 25 artists. Group shows and guest artist shows change on alternating months. Join us on the First Friday of each month as we start a new tradition of monthly art receptions. About Vicki: Slipstream is the ceramics teaching studio of Vicki Lynn Wilson. From 2021-2023, the studio held classes at her Waldport, OR location but relocated. Vicki attended Pacific NW College of Art for her BFA in Sculpture and Portland State University for her Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture. She inherited her grandmother’s kiln and supplies in 1997 while a student at PNCA. She has been a college art instructor for about 20 years, teaching at community colleges, private schools and state colleges in Oregon and Virginia. In recent years, she has been traveling and teaching at art centers and residency programs on the east coast, often working with kids. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and she has created permanent public art in OR, DC, VA and MD.
