“Sgraffito” is a clay term for carving imagery into a damp clay surface, often creating a contrast between a top color and the clay color beneath. In this class, a slump bowl will be prepared for you to color and carve. Bring a 6” diameter printed/drawn image that will fit on a round plate or create a freehand image. The bowl will be fired and clear glazed later.
