Some work may be displayed in sunny facade windows. Please mention in the comment section of the registration form if you have concerns about light or heat affecting your work.

FYI: This show is a pilot for a possible permanent exhibition space for the Oregon Potters Association. Vicki Wilson is offering to dedicate her Philomath, Main Street, storefront gallery space to OPA, and run day-to-day operations with installation help from an OPA committee. Committee members would help with 3 yearly shows, scheduled around Showcase. This show means to establish the viability and logistics of an OPA Gallery before any commitments are made. Some benefits of this gallery would be:
Expanding the reach of OPA outside of the Portland area, increasing awareness, reaching new prospective members and introducing work to new collectors.
Giving a brick and mortar address to OPA. This will help when applying for grant funds.
Vicki appreciates having the support of an OPA committee/support, and the prestigious ceramic work it will bring to this community.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF AN OPA COMMITTEE FOR THIS GALLERY, PLEASE REACH OUT TO VICKI WILSON, ASAP

ARTIST-GALLERY CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
Slipstream Clay Studio LLC (hosting the Green Heron Gallery)
1233 Main St Philomath, OR 97370
503-730-7577
This consignment agreement is between __________________________________ (artist) and Slipstream Clay Studio, which hosts the Green Heron Gallery. The consignment dates are: Jan 15-April 15, 2027. Work should be picked up promptly at the end of specific consignment periods. Your work should be labelled with name, title, medium and price and should have the same information recorded on an inventory list. The consignment period can be ended by either party at any time.
The terms of the consignment agreement are as follows:
This agreement applies only to works consigned under this agreement and does not make Slipstream/Green Heron a general agent for any other works by the artist.
Slipstream/Green Heron retains a 20% commission on art purchases. Exhibiting artists may receive a reduction in commission (to 15%) by being a volunteer gallery sitter for a 3-4 hour shift. Upon the sale of the work(s), Slipstream/Green Heron will pay the artist by the 10th day of the following month. The artist retains full ownership of the artwork until it is sold and they have been paid in full, at which time the ownership passes directly to the purchaser. Work that is sold through the artist's personal website is not subject to gallery commission.
Slipstream/Green Heron does not assume responsibility for any consigned work lost, stolen, or damaged in the gallery’s possession or in transit to or from the gallery; therefore, the artist should provide their own insurance coverage in case such a mishap should occur.
Consigned work will not be removed from the gallery premises without the permission of the artist. The specified retail prices will not be changed without the artist’s permission.
The artist retains copyright and all reproduction rights to these works. The gallery will not permit any of the artwork to be copied, or reproduced without written permission of the artist. We do allow customers to take photos of work for personal use, social media and to encourage sales.
Artwork that is purchased may be removed from the gallery and taken the same day. Artists may be asked to bring another work of similar size and character if their piece is taken away.
If shipping is requested, customers will be asked to arrange it with the artist directly.
These consigned works will be held in trust for the benefit of the artists and will not be subject to claim by any creditor of Slipstream/Green Heron. This agreement will terminate automatically upon the death of the artist, or if the gallery becomes bankrupt, insolvent or ceases operation. Either party may terminate this agreement by giving written notice of thirty days to the other party. Upon termination, all consigned works should be picked up by the artist within the thirty days notice period and all accounts settled. If there is no pick up within 90 days of the termination of this agreement, the artwork and any balance due to the artist will become the property of Slipstream/Green Heron.
