One 2-Hour session in the studio to try the wheel or a hand-building project. Most students get a piece that will be fired, glazed and returned a few weeks later as a finished piece of art. Most of the clean up is done by the studio monkey (Vicki) so it makes a great, but kind of dirty date (Aprons provided).
Hand building projects are different each time. Try the Wheel class gets a demonstration and about 3 tries to make pots. Anything that stands, and is thin enough, can be fired and glazed for you in your choice of color for pick up at a later date.
These are adult (16+) classes but mature 11-15 year olds may be able to attend with a parent who is also enrolled. All students will be required to sign a safety waiver and studio practices acknowledgement when class begins.
Refund Policies for Classes (from the description of each class written above the “add to cart/register now” button): From the time you purchase a class enrollment until the day before class begins, you can drop the class and receive a 95% refund. (The website convenience we are enjoying right now costs me a percentage of every sale). If you cancel less than 24 hours before the first class begins, you will not receive a refund. If the instructor has to cancel an entire course at any time, students will receive a 100% refund. If the instructor has to cancel a class session and cannot make the class up in a satisfactory way, students will receive a refund for that session (prorated). If the instructor has to cancel an entire course at any time, students will receive a 100% refund.
