This is an opportunity to learn techniques, express your creativity with clay and get your work glazed and fired.
Step 1: Pick up a kit at the shop. You can pre-order it on the site or grab one from the shelf during business hours.
Step 2: Check out the tutorials page , print any templates you need and make your work. Take your time, dry and paint the work with the provided underglaze. You can call Vicki or bring the work by during business hours for consultation, if needed.
Step 3: Return the work to the shop during business hours. You’ll be notified to pick up the finished work in about 2 weeks.
You will receive 3 lbs. of clay in a plastic bag, a wooden tool, an 18 inch length of embroidery floss for cutting, a cardboard square, a paper clip for scoring or marking the clay, a piece of straw for poking holes, a paintbrush and a full selection of underglaze colors. Vicki’s tutorial videos are available for ideas, inspiration or they can be used step by step for about 20 different projects.
Please pick up your order within 1 month of purchase and return it for firing within 6 months of purchase. These kits are packaged for immediate use and can dry out if not used in a timely manner. Unclaimed kits will be recycled after 2 months and will not be refunded.
